Learn To Skate Programs

Parent & Me

A great program designed for a child who is not yet comfortable being on the ice without a parent.
30 min. classes – ages 2 1/2 -5 years
8:1 child/instructor ratio

Skate & Play 1

This is suitable for first time skaters with little or no on-ice experience. The low ratio ensures lots of individual attention.
30 min. classes – ages 3-6 years
5:1 child/instructor ratio

Skate & Play 2

Perfect for children who have completed Level One and are confident marching on the ice and standing up unassisted.
30 min. classes – ages 3-6 years
6:1 child/instructor ratio

Skate & Play 3

This program best suits children who have successfully completed Level Two and are comfortable striding and gliding.
30 min. classes – ages 3-6 years
6:1 child/instructor ratio

Youth Skating Skills Programs

Level One

For beginner and first time skaters.
50 min. classes – ages 7-12 years
7:1 child/instructor ratio

Level Two

Suitable for intermediate skaters who are beginning to stride.
50 min. classes – ages 7-12 years
8:1 child/instructor ratio

Level Three

For skilled skaters who can skate backwards, stop, and stride forwards with confidence and power.
50 min. classes – ages 7-12 years
8:1 child/instructor ratio

Level Four

For advanced skaters who can two-foot turn, side stop and glide backwards with speed.
50 min. classes – ages 7-12 years
8:1 child/instructor ratio

Youth Hockey Skills Programs

Hockey Prep

An introductory hockey program designed to develop skating skills while wearing minimal hockey gear.
30 min. classes – ages 4-6 years
6:1 child/instructor ratio

Hockey Skills

Our hockey lessons focus strongly on the basics of skating, plus unique and exciting hockey drills! Children will scrimmage at the end of each practice to show off their skills!
50 min. classes – ages 5-7 years
8:1 child/instructor ratio

Intro to Power Skating & Hockey (Lev. 1 & 2)

A program designed to develop power and efficiency while advancing in hockey skills.
50 min. classes – ages 7-11 years
8:1 child/instructor ratio
