Perfect for skaters who are excited to start hockey and have basic skating fundamentals. This program will continue to develop skating skills and start a introductory to all basic hockey skills. Hockey players will have an opportunity to scrimmage on certain weeks.
Pre-requisite: Successful completion of Skate & Play 2 or Parent & Me Hockey Prep. Skaters must be able to stand up unassisted confidently with hockey gear on and stride forward.
Equipment requirements for participants:
- single blade hockey or figure skaters (please try and avoid plastic skates)
- Hockey jersey (can be purchased through Inside Edge)
- CSA approved hockey helmet with full cage
- hockey pants
- hockey gloves
- shin pads
- elbow pads
- neck guard
- hockey stick
- jersey
- water bottle
- bicycle and ski helmets are NOT permitted

Exemption Dates
Saturdays: January 18th (Cambridge Sports Park Tournament). February 14th (Family Day Weekend)
Thursdays: March 19th (March Break)
*Ages are suggested on average performance. Skaters may be moved to a different class based on skill level.
*Fees listed are for the duration of the session. Late registrations will be pro-rated based on start date.
