An ideal class to start your little one on the ice for the first time. Designed for children who may not be comfortable skating without the support of an adult. During these 30 minute classes, adults are on-ice to encourage their children and provide guidance. Adults must be comfortable on skates to assist child, no shoes permitted.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS:
- single blade hockey or figure skates (please try and avoid plastic skates)
- CSA approved hockey helmet with full cage. (Bicycle and ski helmets are NOT permitted)
- warm comfortable clothing and water proof pants
- thick mittens
*It is recommended that adults wear a CSA-approved hockey helmet when on the ice with their child.
