Skate & Play

Skate & Play 1: Suitable for beginner skaters with little or no skating experience and who are comfortable participating without a parent.

Skate & Play 2: Suitable for skaters who have completed Skate & Play1 or who are able to stand up unassisted, demonstrate balance and are able to walk across the ice with speed.

Skate & Play 3: Suitable for skaters that have completed Skate & Play 2 or who are able to push and glide forward, march backwards and who are able to stop.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS:
- CSA approved hockey helmet with full cage. (Bicycle and ski helmets are NOT permitted)

- Single blade hockey or figure skates (please try and avoid plastic skates)

We also recommend the following clothing:
- Warm comfortable jacket and water proof pants (splash pants)
- Thick mittens

*It is also recommended that adults wear a CSA-approved hockey helmet when on the ice with their child.

Class Duration: 30 minutes (8 WEEKS)

Student/Instructor ratio: 8:1

Ages: 2.5 - 5 years

Fee: $215 (HST included)

Exemption Dates

Saturdays: May 16th (Victoria Day Weekend)
Thursdays: N/A

*Ages are suggested on average performance. Skaters may be moved to a different class based on skill level.
*Fees listed are for the duration of the session. Late registrations will be pro-rated based on start date.
